The server is down because we're updating to Pixelmon 2.5.7.

There is a hotfix up to fix the legendary spawns. See my post on rayquaza spawnings.

Go to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and download 2.5.7 and switch it with your 2.5.5 mod pack in you minecraft folder. Then you should be able to join.

Also, I doubt it's what you're getting, but if you are recieving a "bad login" or a HTTP Error Code:403, then it's just Mojang having issues with their login verification and authorization systems. Just wait until they get their stuff back together and try again later.
