My Retirement: BiggJ39

Hello Everyone

I have been with and supported pixelmon from the beginning. I love pokemon, I love pixelmon, what could be better! I was one of the first staff to ever be on this server, including being on the test map And since those times we have gone through some great members of our community and some bad, some funny moments, and some bad and looking back, I wouldn't trade this experience for the world. Staffing is its own beast, requiring time, energy, and a lotttt of patience for both other staff members and the community. We do our best to help anyone that needs it, but also try to moderate anything bad that could be happening. So, in short, staffing can be very hard and very time consuming. Now, I felt I handled myself quite well as a mod, however, time is what I don't have.

I am a graduate student in architecture school of Clemson. I got accepting into a program down in Charleston that allows me to have an internship at a firm while I go to school. On top of that, I was accepted into a design-build program at said school that designs a project for the community and builds it. This semester we are building a 500 sq.ft. commercial kitchen for farmers to be able to use to package and sell the crops to local schools. So yeah we are designing and actually building this thing so you can imagine how time-intensive it has been.

So between working 16-20 at a firm, 30-40 in studio and having two other graduate level classes to handle, by the time I have downtime, I just want to chill and play some games So, retirement should let me enjoy my time on here without the added stresses of staffing and I can become a part of the community again. But just because I am retiring doesn't mean I've lost may training skills, with the update, you better watch yourself, my Omnomnomastar will be back in full force and maybe even my archeops I have proudly held the title of toughest gym leader, and will now go for toughest trainer

Thank you everyone for giving me a great place to play and make better through my building, staffing, and pokemon knowledge. I'm excited to see the new staff come up and old staff ascend in ranks I can remember it like yesterday when that Aquatic guy was a n00b! And when he crashed the server Worldediting his desert palace and I had to help him I remember some great gym battles and the elite four event, and building the elite four palace So many great memories came from this community, so if you are new, stay and see how amazing this community can be.
