Connection Problems Empty Connection Problems

I haven't seemed to be able to connect to the Pixelmon server today, or yesterday! I get the polling or can't reach server status, with the connection timed out: connect error. Am I missing something? I was able to get on two days ago! Sad

We changed the IP yesterday. The connection IP is now pixelmon.oasis-mc.us

This IP currently re-directs to the Oasis-SMP server, so nobody can log into pixelmon.  Attempting to login to pixelmon.oasis-mc.us simply logs me into Oasis-SMP

It's the same RAW IP because pixelmon is running on the same physical serverbox that SMP is running off of. Pax and I have mapped the pixelmon IP and port to the appropriate port with our DNS provider. There should not be any connection issues.

The only thing I can think of is that the Pixelmon server could be down.

Ya, it's re-directing back to SMP, looks like it is down for some reason. It did this re-direct thing last time it went down, any idea when it will be back up?

Every attempt to connect to pixelmon logs me into regular Oasis-SMP.

ya, a few days ago it went down for maintenance, and it kept re-directing to regular oasis until it came back up. You couldn't log on to regular Oasis, as it was down too, but the IP re-directed to it. Since it's doing the same thing, I think its safe to conclude it is still down.

If you guys are using the pixelmon.oasis-mc.us IP, and it's not connecting, try the direct IP of oasis-mc.us:25564 to see if that fixes anything.

Also, if Mojang's servers are down, then I'm guessing it's affecting Pixelmon as well. Not much we can do there but wait.

Using the direct IP resulted in the normal error message "Can't reach server" and it does not redirect me to Oasis-SMP.
I believe this confirms that the pixelmon server is down.

Throughout all of this, there have been no problems on Mojang's end, and connecting to other servers (including Oasis-SMP) is normal. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
